What skills do you have that could be homesourced?

To me, homesourcing is more interesting than outsourcing. I mean ,everybody is talking about Indians taking American jobs that we don't want, but with new technology, we can challenge important jobs like journalists. The example of the young man being able to create a news source online with 200 dollars is fascinating. His news is more reliable than the media is anyway, and anybody can do it. What if we all had some ambition to use our skills to get or challenge good jobs instead of worrying about people taking the bad ones?

Because of outsourcing and homesourcing, jobs will soon be much more competitive and hard to get. Therefore, we will need to really improve are skills to the best of our ability. One thing I wonder is with the increase of technology how many skills will be completly dependable on electronics.

TO me home sourcing seems far more superior to outsourcing after reading what jet blue has done. It allows for Americans who want a at home essentially part time job to have this. Also with American home sourcing customers will not have to ever deal with hard to understand accents and when you are talking to someone in America who is American sometimes it just feels more comforting than talking to that hard to understand person in India.

I think that it is important that we are home sourcing because it is going to make jobs in America more completive and respected. I think you could go as far to say that we are home sourcing jobs to Hispanics that are coming into the country looking for a new start, especially jobs in the agriculture industry.

I agree with Josh and everyone else who said that homesourcing sounds far more interesting than outsourcing. After reading about JetBlue I did a little extra research about the whole thing and as it turns out they're doing much more than just answering phone calls and making flight reservations. JetBlue as a company is one of the cheapest airlines in America, and as it turns out their food definitely isn't the butt of any "what's up with airline food" jokes. They even have come up with their own special brand of blue potatoe chips, which I found really interesting. I think some skills I have that could be homesourced are not only my passion for sports, but also my talent in writing where I could be a sportswriter by doing nothing but watching the games and reporting what I've seen. Although I would much rather attend the events live.

Homesourcing to me is a very competitive way to increase peoples skillzzzzzz. I believe that it will bring only the best people into jobs on the home front, and promote higher education.

Homesourcing has become a hot new trend in this flat world. Housewives have been working for the Salt Lake City based Jetblue
